Tsukiyama

Tsukiyama is Japanese for “hilly garden”. I created this illustration back around 2008, first as some whimsical & dreamy concept designs as part of a project, then as a poster design.

In the Japanese text, the first line is a poem Manyoshu 1459; “It may be time for the cherry blossoms to fall”, and the second line is “Cherry blossoms dance, in delicate hue, Whispering their beauty, a dream come true.”.

The Tsukiyama print is available on Imagekind in a variety of sizes.
